Why Do I Write?

Sometimes people ask me why I write. Why do I blog? What do I get out of it? Well, I want to let you into my world a little bit. I have always been a writer. I had a rocky childhood and writing was an escape for me. I wrote when I was sad. Back then I wrote poetry. I have always been a sad soul, so you can imagine that most of my poetry was very emotional. I felt like I didn’t have much of a voice or someone to share my thoughts with, so I shared them with my journals. I guess that is something that has never left me. I am still a very sad soul and I still write when I am emotional. On this blog you will typically find product reviews. If you keep your eye out though, you will find an emotional post. A lot of times I just write about my feelings at the moment. Recently, however, I have started writing my own endings to my tragic life events. When I am thinking of something that breaks my heart, I write me story with my ideal ending. Who says I can’t dream?

So why do I write? I write to keep my creative juices flowing. I write to release these emotions that would consume my soul if I didn’t let them out. I write because I am happy. I write because I am sad. I write because I am seeking so much more than this boring reality that we live every day. I write for me and I write for you.

Now my question is, why do you read? What keeps you reading my posts? Do you write? If not, how do you release your emotions?

Until next time my friends!
