The Vermont Country Store Heated TRAVEL Blanket

If I am going on a trip that is longer than 2 hours, I always bring a blanket. Yes, I live in Florida. That doesn't mean that I don't get cold. I especially freeze when I am traveling late at night and the AC is blowing directly on me. I can't turn it off and make everyone else in the car sweat. I know that I tend to get cold more than the average person, so I try to be prepared. Sometimes, however, a simple blanket is not enough. Sometimes, I need something more. The Vermont Country Store has a blanket that perfectly suits my needs. It is a heated travel blanket!

The Electric Car Blanket is a genius idea. I had no idea that something like this existed. I love heated blanket for the home, but I've never thought about using one on-the-go. The home electric blanket plug into the wall, but the heated travel blanket plugs right into the lighter socket. The cord is long enough for it to reach the back seat, too. The red flannel is a very nice style, so you don't have to worry about it looking strange in your car. The blanket is incredibly soft. It isn't itchy like cheap fleece. You will feel really comfortable on your long car rides with this blanket. I love that there is a timer on the blanket. It's perfect for naps on the road and great for safety. You don't want to leave your electric blanket on for too long. The size is right too. It covers my entire body, but I am 5'0 so I can't say much, haha.
