The best investment you'll ever make in this lifetime, is to invest in yourself. If you want to live a rich and happy life, it begins within you. It can be as simple as taking a nap or as complex as learning a new language. Here's 10 ways to invest
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. Those questions always come with quick and easy answers. It wasn't until I
Inspiration is the first step toward decluttering your life and hopefully that inspiration comes from this post. I want to tell you all about the steps I'm taking to declutter every aspect of my life and how you can too!
This post was brought to you in partnership with SearchRx. One thing that disgusts me in this country is how expensive our health coverage is. We pay bucket loads of money for doctor visits, tests, and then just when we think we're all done – we pay more for our
My life is a constant river of reflection. Not a day passes without me reflecting on the day before. I think of situations I could have handled better and I acknowledge those that I managed well. I do all that I can to nourish every ounce of my being. A strong mind, body, & spirit
Well, my friends. I'm back on Nutrisystem again. My journey in 2015 was challenging, but so rewarding. After 3 months of Nutrisystem and my new lifestyle choices, I lost a total of 18 lbs – without working out at all. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. My confidence
I feel like I've experienced more heartbreak in my life than the average person. I've had a lot of failed relationships and I've never taken a breakup lightly. It doesn't matter the reason for the breakup. It doesn't matter who ended it or if the decision was mutual – it
There's a popular news article floating around which shows a disturbing image of a couple in the front seat of a car, passed out from drugs, with a child in the back seat – wide awake. I'm not sure how long the poor child was there for or how the story
Mental illness is real. Some illnesses are talked about and recognized more than others, like bipolar disorder. Then there are ones that people think are made up like body dysmorphia, self mutilation, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. We need to talk about mental illness because ignoring it or hiding it will only push others away. We need a good support system and people around us who understand when it's time to give us our space, comfort us, or just to remind us that it's okay. It's shows like these that take us from pretending mental illness doesn't exist, to talking about it without shame or embarrassment.
Being a blogger, I am on the computer more than 10 hours a day and usually on my phone when I'm not on my computer. Running your own business takes a lot of time, hard work, and dedication. I usually would say that people only should work this hard so they don't have to work later, but in this case – I love what I do. So, when I mention the countless hours that are spent writing and staring at a bright screen, it's just to give you an idea of how much I am straining my eyes.
Queen of Katwe is going to be one of the most beautiful, inspiring, and emotional movies to hit theaters this year. I get butterflies just watching the trailer and the new featurette. I believe that Lupita Nyong'o is perfect for her role as a mother. When I spoke to her about her motherly role in The Jungle Book she mentioned how much she wants to be a mother because of the strong mother figures in her life.
It took me an incredibly long time to climb out of a hole that I dug for myself when I let others define my self worth. Sometimes changing your life means taking things one step at a time. I think it's important to work on yourself from the inside out.
The National Institutes of Health have released the Clinical Guidelines on the Identification, Evaluation, and Treatment of Overweight and Obesity in Adults. In that, they have highlighted two criteria qualifying people for surgery:
I love reminiscing on good times. It's one of my favorite things to do. I think that I am addicted to nostalgia. It's one of the most natural, beautiful feelings that we can ever have. Nostalgia is described as "a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations." If you feel nostalgia about anything, then life has brought you moments of happiness that will always live within you. I think of nostalgia as "remembering when" because it's always something that I say when thinking of the good ole days. I thought that I'd share a few with you.
This is going to be a very emotional post. This is a post in a writing prompt blog hop called, Behind The Blogger. This week's prompt is "Dear Childhood Me". We are to interpret every prompt in our own way, as long as we use the words in the prompt. This is going to be a letter to my childhood self. I didn't have a very good childhood. I've opened up about my childhood a few times on my blog, but never have I given you a peek into how I view my "childhood self".
I usually don't make New Year's resolutions, but I promised myself that 2016 would be a year full of focus, hard work, and great opportunities. I am pretty proud of everything that I've accomplished this year. I can't take all of the credit, though. I've had a lot of help from Nature Made B-12 Vitamins. Nothing compares to a natural energy supplement from a brand that you can trust.
Pulmonary embolism is almost always developed as a complication after deep vein thrombosis. Blood blot, which was separated from deep vein, enters the bloodstream and through circulation, it passes through heart finally ending in lungs. If that problematic piece of clot is big enough, it can remain within a lung artery partially preventing blood from flowing. The heart will be deprived of oxygen, which was previously transferred together with blood. This will disable heart from functioning properly. Given the importance of the organ, it can easily lead to disastrous complications. However, if you buy Innohep online, you can control this issue.
To whom it may concern,I am Joyce and I am full. I am full of love, life, emotions, and experiences. I am empty. I am empty from all of the love that you took from me; empty from the childhood that you stole from me; empty from the spirit that you broke.
I think we can all agree that we hate going to the doctor. There's not enough time to visit a doctor every time we need to. Sometimes you wish that you could get help from home. Every time I am sick I think about how nice it would be if a doctor would come to me. Being in a car while you're sick is not fun. It's even worse for the kids. Dragging them to a doctor is more work than it's worth. With the way technology has advanced, it's no surprise that companies like Amwell are offering visits via phone calls and video chats.
"I am easy to forget" is 1 of 5 phrases that I say to myself daily. I am self-destructive and I am finally finding out what I should be telling myself. Read all of my phrases and find out if you are self-destructive too. What phrases to you say to yourself daily and what should you be saying instead?
