First impression: I have never had matcha before. I was intrigued when reading that it gives you energy and increases focus. When I first received it, I opened the bag and smelled it like always. The color, which is a bright green, definitely scared me. I was afraid of a grassy smell and taste. The smell is very nice though. It has a nice refreshing smell of green tea (go figure haha).
Taste and Results: I decided to test this product because I love trying anything that gives me energy! I mixed a teaspoon of this with tea and it give a delicious flavor. It tastes just like green tea. Don’t let the look of it scare you. This can also be used in baking, but I am not much of a baker so I didn’t try it. My main complaint is that it didn’t dissolve into the tea very well. At the end of drink a lot of the Matcha was left on the bottom. As for the energy aspect of it, It gave me a little energy. It didn’t give me a quick boost like I like, but it didn’t leave me jittery. In the end, I can say that I will use the rest of this pouch, but I don’t plan on purchasing it.
Price Vs. Quality: The price isn’t bad for the amount of powder that you get.
How I rate the product on a scale of 1 to 5: I give this a 3 because I wasn’t impressed or disappointed
Would I purchase this product for a friend? I would only purchase this for someone who would enjoy it on a regular basis in cooking.
