Make 2015 a Year Without Things

I used to think that “things” were important. I remember placing so much importance on places that I wanted to go and things that I wanted to buy. Now that I have every “thing” that I want, I realize that it isn’t important. What is important is love. I mean real love. I mean deep, passionate, I cannot live without you love. The older I get, the wiser I become. I know that being with the one you love is more important than money. Yes, we need security, but we don’t need all of the “extras”. “Things” are fun distractions and places bring nice memories. You can have all of the money in the world and still be missing a piece of your soul.

What is really important is what you are doing with your life. Are you living and loving with all of your heart? Are you holding back? Is there a void in your life? Have you told the one you love how you feel? Are you really LIVING or are you just getting by?

Ladies, please follow your heart. You do not want to live a life with regrets. Life is short and it is not promised. Do what your heart tells you to do NOW. You are stronger than you think. Walk into 2015 with a resolution to love without fear or resistance. Make 2015 a year without things. Make 2015 a year WITH love.

Great post! It is definitely much better to love others than to have things. It’s a much wiser use of your time.

Sage Advice! I always said to my kids that I would rather share an experience with people I love rather than have things.

  3. Great post! Live life and never take things for granted. I had to learn some things the hard way by losing my son. I’ve come to the conclusion that everything happens for a reason. Love life and enjoy it! Never take anything for granted.
