Something in this area that really stands out is the wide range of restaurants, bars and eateries. It will be difficult to choose when coming, and therefore here is a list of the best restaurants on Monkland. This should help you narrow things down based on personal preference, as every person is different and comes to Montreal with different aspirations and tastes in mind.   3. Mikado Sushi – For a fancier, more romantic spot, head here and you’ll fall in love! A Japanese restaurant specializing in sushi and sashimi. Mikado’s philosophy is a 3-step process to keep customers happy – Creativity, simplicity, balance.
  4. Taverne – A more expensive option, but definitely worth it! Featuring a terrace on the Avenue, this restaurant offers an incredible atmosphere to go along with favorite foods! They offer excellently crafted cocktails and appetizers for those who simply wish to enjoy something small.

While all of these restaurants are certain to appeal to your taste buds and keep you happy, Monkland Street also offers a unique festival every year. With 7 blocks of food and fun, it is for sure a can’t miss event for the entire family! Promoting the local community, it’s a feel-good event to bring everyone together!
