The Land is a movie about family, friendship, and all of the struggle that comes in between. This is one of my most anticipated films this summer because it’s starring so many incredible musicians, like Erika Badhu, Machine Gun Kelly, and it’s produced by the legendary, Nas. In celebration of this film hitting theaters this Friday – July 29, 2016, Mass Appeal Records has released a hit single.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange is coming to theaters this November and we can’t seem to sit still. What I mean is that we’ve been stalking the internet for any sort of sneak peek, new release, or new announcement that we can find. Thanks to San Diego Comic-Con, a brand new trailer and poster was released. Be ready to grip your seats folks – this is going to be one heck of a ride!

The clip is from the 60-minute, behind-the-scenes featurette titled “United We Stand, Divided We Fall – The Making of Captain America: Civil War Part 1 & 2.” It showcases how Marvel selected Black Panther and features interviews with all-star cast members who explain what it was like to welcome an all-new character to the MCU family.

Pete’s Dragon is slowly inching closer and I’m getting antsy! I’m sure there’s are tons of you out there getting more excited as each day approaches. Pete’s Dragon is another Disney classic that’s being brought back to the big screen as a live-action film. Sometimes I feel like nobody is as excited as I am about new movies. That’s why I have a few ideas to get everyone just as excited as I am for Pete’s Dragon. Enjoy!

Queen of Katwe is going to be one of the most beautiful, inspiring, and emotional movies to hit theaters this year. I get butterflies just watching the trailer and the new featurette. I believe that Lupita Nyong’o is perfect for her role as a mother. When I spoke to her about her motherly role in The Jungle Book she mentioned how much she wants to be a mother because of the strong mother figures in her life.

Bridget Jones’s Baby is hitting theaters soon and I couldn’t be more excited! Being the hopeless romantic that I am, I loved Bridget Jones’s Diary and the fact that a new film is coming out – I am thrilled!

From acclaimed writer/director Jeff Nichols, Loving celebrates the real-life courage and commitment of an interracial couple, Richard and Mildred Loving (portrayed by Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga), who married and then spent the next nine years fighting for the right to live as a family in their hometown. Their civil rights case, Loving v. Virginia, went all the way to the Supreme Court, which in 1967 reaffirmed the very foundation of the right to marry – and their love story has become an inspiration to couples ever since.
