First impression: Upon receiving the product I was happy to see that it came in a 6oz tub. This is a great amount for a facemask. I immediately opened the mud mask tub and smelled it. I was so happy that it had a pleasant smell. In my opinion it smells just like mint and eucalyptus. I then read all of the ingredients. Every ingredient is natural! AND it is cruelty free. I had to use the product right away.

Before: First of all I have to mention that I do have oily skin, so if your skin is dry it may work differently on you. The tub tells you to apply a medium layer on your face and to leave it on your face for 5-10 minutes.  I actually applied mine in the shower because it is very messy, like all mud masks. A little goes a long way with the Pure & Essential Minerals’ Dead Sea Mud Mask. It did not take a lot to cover my face and since the directions say to use once a week, it will last for a very long time.

After: After I put the mask on I decided to wait the full 10 minutes. It did not dry until about the 10-minute mark, but I am sure that has a lot to do with the moisture in the shower. If you do not like the tingling feeling that some masks give, then this is not for you. My face tingled the entire time, but I like that because it makes me feel like it’s working. I rinsed it off and it came off easily. The directions say to rinse of in a circular motion, to exfoliate your face. The mask left a cooling sensation of my face afterward! My face felt clean and refreshed! I looked in the mirror afterward and my dull skin was glowing. My only complaint is that after awhile I noticed that it dried my face out some. Other than that I would recommend this product.

Price Vs. Quality: I would definitely spend the sales price of $30 on this. The quantity you get is definitely worth the price. I would spend $60 on any facemask, so I hope that they keep it at this price.
How I rate the product on a scale of 1 to 5: I give this product a 4. I knocked a point off because of the dryness on my face afterward. Thumbs up.
Would I purchase this product for a friend?Yes, I would purchase this for a friend.

I was NOT paid to write this review, but I DID receive the item from the Pure & Essential Minerals for free strictly for me to review with my HONEST opinion of the product.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
