Nestle Pure Life – Great for School Lunches

School is back in session and Nestle Pure life is right on board with this! They want to make sure our children are not only hydrated but that they have smiles on their faces. These bottles are small enough to fit into the kids lunches and even a few for yourself. I love throwing one of these in my purse when I am on-the-go. They are perfect!

When it comes to keeping kids going throughout a long school day, proper nutrition and hydration are key. In fact recent research from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, shows more than half of children and adolescents in the US aren’t getting enough hydration. While excessive dehydration is associated with serious health problems, even mild dehydration can cause issues such as headaches, irritability, poorer physical performance and reduced cognitive functioning.

To help make sure kids are properly hydrated when they head back to school, Nestlé Pure Life is now offering limited edition Share-a-Smile 8 oz. bottles (pictures below), perfectly sized to fit in any lunch box or backpack. A recent survey conducted by Nestlé Pure Life found that a majority of kids say they prefer a homemade lunch (57%) over a school bought lunch. This preference for packed lunches offers a key hydration opportunity for moms – packing a bottle of water can help increase a child’s water intake for the day.
