When word of the Loving movie first came out, I had no idea what it was about. Like most Americans, I had never heard of the Lovings. I didn’t know that this incredibly couple help shaped the country that I love. I didn’t realize that it was because of them, that I am allowed to marry the man that I love. Their story is like no other because the Lovings weren’t an interracial couple fighting for the freedoms of America.
