I can't help but to sneak mystery boxes into my cart every time I see them. Our local comic shop is where we get all of our Funko Pop Vinyls. Well, they had a hefty selection of the Disney Mystery Boxes so I picked one up with my last Funko Pop Haul. As for the Zootopia Mystery Box – I gave in and bought one with my Disney Movie Rewards. The other one I picked up awhile ago when I bought one for a friend.
To help celebrate the release of Zootopia on Blu-Ray, DVD, & Disney Movies Anywhere, a group of bloggers have put together a fantastic giveaway! One lucky reader will receive a HUGE Zootopia Prize Pack which includes some of the VERY best Zootopia prizes!
I am so excited for the home release of Zootopia. It's one of my favorite Disney movies. I have a special connection to the movie because I interviewed the cast and the directors & producers. It was so much fun! Be sure to read my full Zootopia review and check out the bonus features on the Blu-ray combo pack.
I want to watch this blu-ray a million times just to see what else I can catch. I can see myself now, sitting indian-style on the floor, eyes glued to the TV – just like I'm 5 again. There's something to be found in each and every viewing of this movie and that is one of many reasons that the Zootopia Blu-ray combo pack is worth every penny!
Zootopia is seriously one of the best movies that I've seen this year! I was lucky enough to interview some of the actors and directors of the film a few months ago. The time, thought, and creativity put into bringing the world of Zootopia to life really shows on the big screen. I can't wait to bring this baby home. I've been excited for this release because I want to pause, rewind, and study all of the little details that make Zootopia what it is. It's one of those movies that you can watch over and over again and still catch something new. The bonus features on top of that, makes this a must for your Summer movie nights!
What do you expect when you walk out of a Disney movie? Our expectations are usually measured by our past experiences. My experience with Disney movies has definitely become more enjoyable throughout the years. I've always loved Disney, but my expectations have obviously changed. As a child, it was all about the imagination. As an adult, I want to walk out of a Disney movie feeling real emotion. Zootopia surprised everyone by delicately touching on sensitive subjects without preaching or offending anyone. Those important messages, mixed with the witty comedy, and incredibly detailed animation, made for a film that I will watch over and over again. There are so many reasons to watch Zootopia as an adult, parent, or child.
It's no secret that Disney likes to place hidden gems, also known as "Easter Eggs" in their movies. You know, like Goofy and Donald's appearance in the crowd during King Triton's entrance in The Little Mermaid. Another popular gem is Aladdin's carpet in the opening of The Princess and The Frog. There are a ton of inside jokes that only adults, or maybe only the creators, would understand. I think that we all walked into the Zootopia screening looking for an underlying message or a hidden gem. Some were more cryptic than others, but they definitely exist. The ones that we didn't catch, the Zootopia Directors and Producers filled us in on.
A few other Orlando Bloggers and I had the pleasure of interviewing the Jason Bateman and Ginnifer Goodwin, the voices of Zootopia. Their responses, characteristics, and personalities were quite impressive. These interviews are full of passion and laughter.
I am super excited about Zootopia. It's releasing soon and I am constantly searching for the newest posters and clips for the movie. Does anyone else do this? Let me first say that I typically am not this way. I usually watch have of a trailer because I don't want any of the movie to be spoiled. When it comes to animated movies, however, I just love watching all of the special clips. I love getting to know the characters before I watch the film. I hope that you are the same way because I have some special clips to show you now. Enjoy!
If you know me, you know that I love animals. People call me the crazy cat lady, but that's another story in itself, haha. I love all animals. I always say that I am the type to try to pet a wild bear. I can't help it. With that said, animated movies with animals - yep, love those too. Zootopia, I believe is going to be a personal favorite for me for a number of reasons. I hope that you are just as excited for this movie. To keep you on your toes and looking forward to it, Disney has released the music video for Shakira's original song, Try Everything. She is the voice of the Gazelle in Zootopia and provides some of her musical talents for the movie. Enjoy!

Today I am reflecting on everything I accomplished in 2016. We've come to the end of the road and I've
There's something about animated animal movies that children love. I think it all has to do with the imagination. Maybe
So, our anniversary was a month ago. My boyfriend had me believing that he only got me the gift he'd given me early, but he showed up on our special day with not one Through The Looking Glass mystery mini, but two! I'm spoiled – I know! I was crossing so excited to add these to my collection.
It's true! Wreck it Ralph will be hitting (pun-intended) theaters again soon and we are kind of freaking out. Disney announced this BIG news yesterday after teasing us with a "breaking news" announcement the day before. I'm pretty sure this is going to be epic seeing as how the Zootopia creators will be working on this film, just as they did with the first. Maybe I am biased because I got to chat with these talented guys, but if it's anything like the first, it will be smashing success.
My idea of a perfect reading nook revolves around comfort. I wanted big pillows, soft blankets, and of course, really good books. I don't exactly have a location in my home that's free. So I decided to build my reading nook in a corner of a bed and a wall in our guest room. It's in a location that doesn't have much traffic, but can be removed quickly when we need the space.
